This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Jazz Drive app, JazzCash subscription flow, and related services ("Service").

By subscribing to or using Jazz Drive through the JazzCash payment gateway, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, you may discontinue use of the Service at any time.

1. Consent and Policy Updates

By creating an account or using our Service, you consent to the collection and processing of your information as described in this Policy, including subscription and billing information where applicable.

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect improvements, legal requirements, or new Service features. Updated versions will be made available through our platform, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

2. Information We Collect and Why

We collect only the information necessary to provide a safe, personalized, and enjoyable experience.

a. Personal Information

  • Account Details – Name, mobile number, or email address used for registration and verification.
  • Payment & Subscription Information (JazzCash) – When you subscribe via JazzCash, we may collect and process your mobile number (MSISDN), JazzCash transaction details, subscription status, billing cycle information, and recurring payment authorization status.
  • Payments are processed securely through JazzCash and authorized payment partners. Jazz Drive does not store sensitive payment credentials such as JazzCash PINs or passwords.

b. Technical Information

  • Device Data – Device type, operating system, network information, and app version.
  • Usage Logs – Anonymous activity information, viewing time, timestamps, and error reports to improve performance and troubleshoot issues.

c. Optional Information

  • Feedback, surveys, or other voluntary information provided to help improve the Service.

We use this information to:

  • Provide and improve the Service experience.
  • Manage subscriptions and recurring billing.
  • Process payments through JazzCash.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Ensure compliance with PTA regulations and applicable privacy laws.

3. Subscription and Recurring Billing

By subscribing to Jazz Drive through JazzCash, you expressly authorize Jazz Drive, JazzCash, and authorized payment partners to charge your JazzCash account on a recurring monthly basis.

  • The Service is billed at PKR 300 per month, unless otherwise stated.
  • Your subscription automatically renews every month unless you cancel.
  • You may cancel through the app or web portal.
  • Recurring charges will continue until your subscription is cancelled.

4. App Permissions

Certain features require limited permissions to function correctly.

  • SMS Access – OTP verification.
  • Storage Access – Downloading or saving content.
  • Internet Access – Streaming and synchronizing content.

All permissions are used only for their intended purposes and can be managed through your device settings.

5. Cookies and Third-Party Services

Jazz Drive may use trusted third-party services such as analytics providers, hosting platforms, and JazzCash billing systems to operate and improve the Service.

These providers may use cookies or anonymous identifiers to analyze usage trends and support subscription management. All third-party providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

6. Data Protection and Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continuously improve our security measures.

7. Sensitive Information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as race, religion, political opinions, or health information. Please avoid sharing such information through the Service.

  • Cancel your subscription, including recurring JazzCash billing, at any time.
